FINALLY!!!!!!!!!

I would like to dedicate this post to Holly Marrelli who lent us her toy to help Caydence start walking. Caydence hadn't even started thinking about walking, but Holly gave us this toy, and now a week and a half later she is walking! I never thought this day would come!

(Sorry she looks like such a rag-muffin, but she had to have a second bath after lunch, and we didn't feel like getting her all ready again!)

And a couple nights ago when we were trying to get her to stand this was the result and we just couldn't stop laughing!

FINALLY.......NYC!!!

I am finally uploading our NYC pictures!! (It's been a crazy week!) Warning: There are a lot of pictures, but I cut these down from 190 we took!!!

This is the view from our hotel.

And when you zoom in between the buildings, you can see the Statue of Liberty. (We could see it better than this, but this is what the camera picked up.)
We took a 3 hour boat tour around the entire island of Manhattan and this is my FAVORITE shot we got from that tour.

Here's the Empire State Building from the boat tour.

Empire State Building from the "Top of the Rock" (The observation deck on the top of Rockefeller Center)

Looking up at Rockefeller Center

Looking straight down from the Empire State Building.

Another shot from the top of the Empire State Building. (Danny took about 100 of our pictures from up here, but I just picked 2)

The two of us on top of the Empire State Building.

You can all laugh at me, but this is Bella's prom dress from Twilight, and it is at Planet Hollywood in Times Square.

Thanks to my parents for the BEST part of our trip: WICKED!!!

This is as close to the top of the Statue of Liberty as you can get.

Danny with Manhattan in the background from the Statue of Liberty.

Statue of Liberty.

This is what Ground Zero looks like now. Our hotel was like a block away from here.

Danny standing in Grand Central Station. I love how this picture turned out, he is standing still and everyone is running around and blurred around him.

Times Square.

More Times Square.

Walking the Brooklyn Bridge!

Some street performers.

This is one of my favorite pictures! Danny's face is so classic! This is at the Museum of Natural History.

As we were riding the Subway home for the last time on our last night, I realized we didn't have a single picture of it, so we tried about a million times to take one of ourselves, and this is the best one we got :)

We had such an AMAZING time and were so grateful to my parents for babysitting Caydence so we could enjoy our time there even more!! Thanks mom and dad!!

Mandy's wedding

My cousin Mandy got married last weekend, and of course I didn't have my camera, so I didn't get any pictures, but one of my cousins took these and sent them to us.

Our little family

Danny and Caydence

Catch up

Our camera stopped working on Caydence's birthday, so I've had to mooch Danny's mom's camera to update our blog.  I've got a bunch of old posts, so I'm almost all caught up.  Read below if you'd like to see what we've been up to.

HE DID IT!!!

On Friday, May 1st Danny graduated for Weber State University with a bachelors degree in Business Finance.  It was such a great day!!  I am so excited to have my husband back again!!  He has been working full time the whole time he's been going to school, and has quite a lot on his plate.  We are so proud of him!

My family.

Danny's family.

It was also my mom's birthday, so we had a little party that night, complete with party hats :)

SWINGS!

Caydence LOVES the swings!!  Can there be anything better?

This is her cute friend Ali.

You wouldn't even believe how hard it is to get 2 babies looking at you, smiling, AND swinging together!!  So this was the best shot :)

First Pigtails with all of her hair!

I've been feeling recently like Caydence's hair is just always a mess.  It is so long!!  I never know what to do with it.  I tried these pigtails, and they were very cute, but the second she went in the stroller or the car seat, they were all messed up!  And for those of you who know my OCD, you know I just CANNOT have that, so I guess we'll wait a little while before these will work.

After about 50 tries, and chasing Caydence all around the house, this is about the best picture I got.
